Aston Martin has refreshed the V8 Vantage sports coupe and roadster and as we reviewed it back in 2009, the car is by far one of the best looking GTs out on the market and its now looking better than ever with the subtle new changes. For 2010, Aston Martin has taken the Vantage V8 one step closer to perfection. The changes include minor upgrades to the body aerodynamics, wheels and taillights but the real treat is inside the car…

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage has been known for its great looks since its debut in 2006, but it is also well known till today for its lack of performance. The car simply is slow compared to its Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini rivals but that is about to change as Aston Martin just revealed the latest entry to its family line, the V12 Vantage. Many will get to enjoy the power of the V12 found in the DB9 and the DBS but in a much smaller size car, which means that this new baby Aston should have no problem hanging with the big dogs. There is however one major problem. Will we ever see one in the US?

The new 2010 Aston Martin DBS Volante is officially here and it is HOT. The car that is known to be James bond’s personal transportation is now available in a convertible for 2010, and it isn’t cheap. This is now the most expensive and gorgeous car Aston Martin has ever produced and it will be starting at $265,000 and will feature a 2+2 configuration, meaning 4 people can fit and enjoy the sun, unlike the coupe that has rear seat deletes. The 2010 Aston Martin Vantage V8 is here. Back in 2006 Aston Martin introduced the rebirth of its bread winner, the Vantage. Changing the infamous problematic car from an exotic V12 to a daily V8. The delivery and execution was simply flawless and needed to be commended as for the first time in ages, someone made a car worthy of giving the ultimate daily exotic, the Porsche 911 a run for its money. The Aston Martin Vantage is by no means as fast as its counterpart and does deliver a slightly more expensive price tag than even the 911 Turbo, but a price well worth paying for the glory that Aston Martin badge brings with it.

All exotic cars look good, perform great and have luxuries that are not often found in your average BMW. How can you possible know which one is the best and more importantly which one you will enjoy most, and then you are of course faced with the next question: Who to buy from?

The Aston Martin Rapide has moved into the final stages of its development programme, on course for a public debut in late 2009, with the first customer cars due to be delivered in early 2010.
Aston Martin Chief Executive, Dr. Ulrich Bez said: “The Rapide will be the most elegant four-door sports car in the world. It completes the Aston Martin range conveying our established attributes of Power, Beauty and Soul.

So the other day I came across this picture and though to myself really?
I have personally driven the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and thought what a great car. It’s not fast, but it sure is a looker, without mentioning that the details of the interior are simply striking. Exactly what you expect from a $140,000 Aston Martin. But then some surprising resemblances to the automaker Ford exist all over the car. We all know that $65 Million of Aston Martin is still owned by Ford but come on this is ridiculous.
Here are some of the components that were borrowed from the Ford:
-Mirrors and swicthes all belong to Volvo
-The key fob as pictured above obviously belong to Volvo first
-The engine components are straight from a Ford Mustang Cobra
Aston Martin’s comments were “all key fobs will be replaced by new control units in 2009 models.” This leaves you wondering why do these cars depreciate so much. Maybe its just a glorified Volvo with a Ford Cobra motor.
